Verified

I don't know about you {but I wanna be Francis Chan! jkfl} but one of the single most annoying things bloggers tend to do (whether accidentally or on purpose) is leave "word verification" turned on.

Freedom

Written and describing events on Thursday, May 29, 2014
There's something about a hard couple of days that just seems to usher in one spectacular day, where pretty much everything is going right--and the things that don't, you're able to overlook.

Stop Apologizing!

A common mistake people make is thinking that only the bloggers who've gotten twelve hundred followers can give advice. And, it's true--handing out blogging advice when it doesn't look like you've done that well yourself in the blogging world can appear presumptuous. Experiments in Photography

When I was nine, my family purchased its first digital camera: a Canon Powershot A610 with five megapixels. My artistic and motivated sister, Hallie, immediately caught on to photography and was much more interested in it than I ever was. I took a picture or two here and there to enter some photos in the County Fair, but I never seemed to have the grasp of it that Hallie had, for my pictures rarely received the prizes hers did. Within the last several months, however, as I've been attempting to maintain a personal style blog, I've had to take my own miniature photoshoots--and I've really, really been wanting a new camera.

My 2014 Graduation Dress Picks

Argh . . . honestly, writing the introduction to a blog post is the worst thing ever. I hate introductions. I just struggled over one for about twenty minutes this morning while writing my literature essay, and thanked goodness that I didn't have to craft a thesis statement for my history essay. And since school is nearly out and graduation season is upon us, all of you girls graduating from high school/college get to go pick out a pretty dress! (Don't you love excuses to shop? :)) Before sharing a few ideas for you, I'll give you a peek at what's coming into my closet within the next couple of weeks:

Good Time

Listening to the beat of Sara Bareilles or Patsy Cline on the curves of Highway 142, dancing in my seat to the four-four count of “San Antonio Rose” and “Blue Moon of Kentucky.”
